Hello, I am IVVO, the Interface for Official Veterinary Surveillance. I am an online information system developed by PANAFTOSA-PAHO / WHO and I am freely available to any country to support official veterinary surveillance of animal diseases, both nationally and regionally. More I can be adopted as a national information system for the surveillance of all diseases; enabling data recording and closed viewing through maps and graphs. Thus, in support of national surveillance systems, I can record data from passive surveillance performed by veterinary services based on follow-up of suspected diseases. In addition, I facilitate the work from the initial registration of the notification to the confirmation of the results, including positive and discarded results. At the national level I also have an exclusive module to record data from active surveillance studies. In this way, veterinary services can record essential information about the study design, the population studied and the results. When countries that already have their own surveillance systems, my regional component can be used to openly share data with other neighboring countries on vesicular diseases, avian influenza and zoonoses quickly and easily. In this way I am contributing to provide information that is not currently present in other global systems; such as the negative results of passive surveillance investigations that support the existence of national surveillance, and the active surveillance actions carried out. I am versatile, simple and intuitive; and to share my data with users and observers, I contain several interactive reports with super interesting maps and graphics. Enter and explore all my possibilities and information. I am at your disposal!
